Hi all just thought I would introduce myself. I am starting my first  build it is a kit from Rock Tile  it's there H/b  got it for my birthday .

I am new to guitar making . I normally spin wood on the old lathe.  so a new experience it's going to be. I have made a start got up to putting bass coat on blood black I am letting that rest then I am going to finish with a 2k lacker

Hey @bodess welcome to the forum and to guitar building, be warned, it’s extremely addictive! 😁

The kit is looking good, I like the colour too. 2k clear is my preferred finish.

my next project will be  a violin bass similar to Paul McCartney's one but that will have to bee next year in the wormer month's I think
