I've said it before, but I can say it again ... the push of submitting something for the Bliss broadcasts finally got me off my ar$e and learning / recording stuff. 

Listening back to some of my early efforts now does suggest that practice-makes-a-little-better (I'm not claiming perfect).  A voice warm-up before hitting the record button makes a big difference, as does regular practice.  Who knew!!

And I've learned more songs, properly, in the last few months, than I'd learning in f the last many years.  

I may just have to make acoustic bliss my Thursday evening house music.

@bpower - my wife calls Thursdays my "night down the pub".  No dodgy kebabs on the way home though ...

Thanks @Russ. It was bit of a nightmare. It was the first take and I was running out of time and then, at the end, realised the guitar wasn’t plugged in. So I had to overdub the guitar based on the rhythm of my stomping left foot. Which was all over the place.

Ah well... never mind. Song written - mission accomplished. Onward and upward!
