I think I must have started an order then stopped either because something else came up or the next item I wanted was out of stock.
Then when I went back a week or more later I forgot to check that the basket was empty before I started.
So two tubs of aquacoat clear grain filler arrived this morning.
Is this the universe's ways of saying I have to build a large number of blue stained guitars from wood with prominent grain?
@jonhodgson Do you normally have someone that looks after you? 😆
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
I have an embarrassing amount of "stuff" on my workshop shelves that I've either bought with good intentions of using (but haven't), bought but decided to use something else, bought because I was buying something else at the time and added the extra bits to get free shipping, or bought for reasons long since forgotten!
Still, it'll all come in handy one day ....

@tv101 Yeah that sounds like my typical behaviour too. Things make sense at the time and then I ask myself where all of this stuff has come from. The trouble is, it’s all usable stuff so when I have a tidy up, it takes ages to sort through everything because I don’t really want to throw much away.

Two?! That’s not an over ordering mistake, that’s just having one spare in stock! I’ve got 40 4A uke soundboards making their way to me on a slow boat from Canada as I write! Seemed like a good idea at the time. It was that or start making banjos!!!!!!
Don’t worry TV, it’s not as bad as It sounds! They’re to feed a composite soundboard project that has been nagging at me for well over a year now. More details once the ship has docked!!
Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.
Think I’m the king of over ordering. In the 90s I bought lots of wood and will probably never get to use it. Going to review my stuff this year and see if anyone wants some of it.

Nothing wrong with a banjo.
Hey @rocknroller912
I agree totally, I’ve always wanted one, just please don’t tell TV10101 I said so or I’ll lose all of his respect! 😂😂😂
And never mention banjos and jazz in the same sentence! 😂😂😂
Thanks I know how to wind him up now. Mine was from Clareen Banjos in Ireland, cheaper than buying the parts.

I suppose I could play jazz banjo on mine but it’s really for Irish music - whoops

I have had at least four people come to me thinking that I can make them an acoustic guitar cheaper than they can buy one for on eBay! And it’s not that they were looking at Lowdens!! We’re talking £350 guitars and they think I can save them money on shop prices! It’s difficult to know what to say whilst remaining polite!
You have my email address so let’s start spoofing, if you have any ideas let me know. I’ve got one forming.

Absolutely agreed @rocknroller912.
Obviously, it depends on what they're used for, but as a doorstop, they're handy things.
