I bought a set of Sperzels off that Ebay for my build, but I want to change the buttons.

I’m really impressed with the buttons on my Yamaha RGX A2, which are knurled rollers rather than little button/levers. They don’t go out of tune when you bump or knock them but they’re still very easy to manipulate.

The Sperzels have a spindle with two flat faces (at 180°) on the outside and are internally threaded for the locking screw.

Any ideas on the best way to make or commission something to fit? Material? Technique? 3D printing? Bits of antler?

@frocesterbill Oh yes, something exactly like that!

I’ll investigate.

Thanks

Well thanks Bill. BTN Music were really helpful and as a result, I now have a set of Hipshot tuners and Industrial Tuner Buttons. Each tuner is 4g heavier than the Sperzel but they’re gorgeous. The Sperzels will probably go back on Ebay.
