I haven’t got anything planned. I may have got some candy colour on this glitterball yesterday but I had a cracking headache all day so I decided to leave it, it was lovely weather as well. Today I’m fresh as a daisy but the weather is blowing a gale so when I open the window to put my extraction pipe out, everything gets blown back and the window is nearly ripped off. It’s supposed to calm down this afternoon though so there is still hope for candy today. 

That’s about it, no party, trumpets or celebration. Not many people celebrate me. 😩 

I’m a miserable old recluse that sits and makes guitars. Bliss. 😁🤣👍🎸

I’m getting there, just waiting for the wind to calm down. 

I’ve done a bit of taping out, ready for some airbrushing. Exciting. 

All ready to go but still waiting.

@Boo - what compressor are you using to drive that, one of your spraying compressors?

I was really quite tempted by the standard AC version, until I'd read some critical review comments.  But, I don't think those criticisms apply to the air powered version ...

I'm guessing that you have a fairly hefty compressor for the spray guns as those sanders can be pretty hungry for air. But they are so much more reasonably priced than a good ROS with an electric motor inside! Does it have Bluetooth?

I’ve got an electric Mirka - it is bloody excellent and it does have Bluetooth but I haven’t used that bit......

@darrenking and @tv101 I have a big SIP 3HP/150. It’s been a workhorse for a long time and good enough for everything I need. I’ve always run DA sanders and spray guns from it and the large tank always ensures I have enough air. I’ve run it into the ground really, it’s seen much better days. I need to drag it out, drain the tank and drop the oil, not done it for a while. An overhaul. 🤣

I have a smaller backup compressor too which is ok for spray guns but dies quickly trying to use a DA sander. And obviously I’ve now got the Iwata airbrush compressor to drive my airbrushes (it’s so quiet compared to the workshop compressors).
