From what I remember, Bailey-central is about 10-15mins drive from Ayr town centre.
Yep about that. Carol usually books accommodation in Ayr when on a course at the workshop...
I have too many guitars...said no one in the world..ever!
I’ve spent all my government covid grant on metal flake and candy paint. 🤣
Well at least you didn’t waste it Boo!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

@darrenking Well, it could have been worse, I could have blown it on booze but I chose to be creative instead. 🤣✨✨✨✨🎸

So, who's going, for what??
I would like to make a neck-through bass on a course in the future.

When the workshop courses reopen I will definitely........

Carol booked us at Daviot House in Ayr for our first course and we booked direct but got a good rate by telling them we were on a Bailey course - near the centre of Ayr for drinks and food - excellent B&B - good breakfast - friendly hosts.
Measure once........ Measure again......... Sod it - make tea!
I did fancy an Exotica based build - but 335 is attractive as well - I should be able to do an Exotica build in my workshop - suppose I could do the Exotica build and take it with me to get it finished by Lewis while I do the 335 course.....
Need to start saving......

Pretty sure that I stayed there too @frocesterbill, on one of my workshop course visits. That place was really handy for pubs, restaurants and the beach.
Not that being near the beach was particularly relevant!
