After four electric builds (2 at Bailey’s), it was time to take a shot at an acoustic.  Split over 2 weeks separated by 6 months…. Man it was hard to walk away from the workshop and leave things like this….

@russ yeah, even better ‘in the flesh’.  It’s one of Mark’s new tonewood laminates.  Keeps the cost down, increases stability, but still allows for a really heavily figured finish.

That’s what puts me off doing a course build - having to split the build over 2 separate (long distance) trips, and that wait, wait, wait in the middle!

 

But it’s going to be worth it ......

I'd say do it anyway.  Having just completed the build - the results are unspeakably good.  And somehow the anticipation of the gap makes it better.
