@liebe I think youβre being too modest!!😃 However, if it was luck.....stay lucky!!🤣😃👍🎸
@liebe Itβs gone really well for you hasnβt it, they look great. Iβm definitely going to try this finishing product out. Iβm a spray guy as you know but these results are proving that great finishes can be achieved without spraying gear and/or the skills and knowledge.Β

Hey @boo give it a go, from the instructions it looks like it can also be sprayed too! Definitely thin it and cut it back regularly. I'd love to hear your thoughts
Spraying isn't really an option for me and I reckon this is the best option that gives a hard finish for those without the ability to spray. I'm happy to be advised otherwise!Β
It couldn't be more simple and I think easier then learning to spray. That said there are a few pin pricks from bubbles and it's not 100% flat. I still reckon spraying gives the best results.
@liebe Yeah ok, Iβll order some and plan another build soon. 🤘😁🤘

@liebe Itβs Chestnut product isnβt it?Β
Sorry, I think youβve mentioned it in this thread before and Iβve had a quick look but Iβm dyslexic and I can get lost in a sea of words.Β

Hey @boo, yes I used the chestnut lacquer and cellulose thinners.Β
I found that foam brushes were overall easier to use than a paint brush as it was such a pain getting the brush clean enough to give a decent finish for the next coat. Unfortunately, the lacquer breaks down the foam, so they're only usable for a few coats.Β
@liebe Thanks Dan, I appreciate it. Itβs a good job those foam brushes are cheap then?Β
Cheers again. 👍
