@steveadams It’s a wonderful finish Steve, what oil did you use. I think the whole guitar looks wonderful. Well done.

Hey Boo

Thank you..I have made a couppe of telcasters and came across Mark's site. I used his course for the necks and was so pleased with the rsults...

This guitar was new challenge, carving etc...I've done a zoom with Mark and will be starting my acoustic build very soon..

I used the fides oil reccommended by Darren on the forum..was great went on sooo well

cheers

Steve

@steveadams

Your guitar looks killer! Great job for sure and the pro photos really help it shine. Are you also the photographer?

Practice on scrap...

Indeed it is and I have none of it but I make that up with plenty of exaggeration skills.. 🤣

Really like this build, looks amazing! Any tips you can give with the grub screws on control knobs? Recently made but seems to strip out on me or misaligns.

Hi Clinton

I bought some grub screw internal threads..I initially tried just screwing the grub screws into the wood of the knob but didnt work....there are a few places on amazon that do the internal threads...I ended up buying a pack of different sizes....

cheers

Steve
