I suspect sun tan lotion would be the same too.
I wouldn’t worry about it, you’re less likely to need the sun tan lotion when you move up here.

Do you wet sand with the 3m pad? Is it too abrasive? If so,di you put dish detergent with the water for lubricant?

@boo No I am not because I dye it. If you apply sanding sealer, doesn’t it seal it to where you could not stain thereafter?
