Headstocks machined and should be mated with necks in the next day or two. The dowel holes are to aid alignment and recent slippage when gluing and clamping

Laminating the linings, veneering the headstock, sanding the front of the body prior to bonding the linings. Soundboards now pretty much ready to go bar for a little bit of final sanding. I like flat!Not strictly accurate to the originals… Read more»

Hi Herb,If they are sharp then Forster bits can be a great way to remove lots of material quite quickly and relatively dust free. If the are blunt they’re a great way to make smoke!Darren
