Bit of both is probably good – the nervous bit means that you will measure twice and cut once! I did find that I needed to ration how much I did each day because you could do very long sessions…   Read more»

Just re-read about my build – seems more than a year ago.
Really like this guitar – plays well and was a fairly straight forward build – gave me confidence to do more.

Did this get sorted – if so how does it sound?

You can never have too many clamps!   Forgot that I also have another set of G Clamps and a couple of dozen assorted spring clamps of different sizes….
 

There is one bit in the Cassidy version that always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up……

Also got some of these – 2 short – 4 medium – 2 longer ones.

I have loads – Rutland Tools decided to change the colour of their 4” G clamps they did 10 for £30.
