Firebird with wings!
I got up my courage and glued the wings on today – removed the clamps and I am pleased with it – need to clean up the joins and then decide the size of the chamfer round wings.

Cigar box Firebird looks good!
I have been thinking about sneaking in a solid Uke – possibly Explorer or Flying V shaped….. -

Started my neck carve – ends need sorting but middle bit feels OK – need to compare it to my other guitars…

I finally got up courage to cut the pickup holes. The pickups are from Mr Fabulous in Australia.

Answering one of my own questions now…. Just tried cutting both sides of a line with a fresh scalpel blade then running the Dremel between the cuts gives a much better result – it will take a while to do… Read more»

The wings are Padauk and Walnut ….
Do I leave the edges like this or do a roundover
or carve (more neatly) a chamfer
Any advice?
