It depends on the direction of the grain - we need to see a pic of the end of the block. If the grain is not visible on the end you might need to plane/sand it to be able to see. 🤔

Yes it seems strange but the shape sorts itself out after gluing to the side rims - it doesn't matter where the radius is on the LFB's or that they are 'off centre'.

If you can press it down flat easily by hand, then it will be fine. If not - might be a good idea to let it settle for a while - then level the gluing face. Warping is usually caused by rapid change...
