RE: Nut position on glued on and bolted on neck I'm still not really understanding why Mark made it sound like glued on neck = nut after fretboard, bolt on neck = nut secured in the fretboard. Like that's how it should be. |

Nut position on glued on and bolted on neck In the course Mark says that the nut on a glued on neck is positioned at the fretboard end whereas on a bolt on neck it is positioned after the fretboard. Why is this? |

Fret slot depth Hi all, brand new member and subscriber here with a question regarding fret slot depth. After sawing the slot won't there be a gap underneath the middle of the fret? Wouldn't this give us a dead fret? |
