Flat, no light showing through. And yeh it can be a pain in the muffler prepping wood but it has to be done. Handplane, sanding, router and straight edge etc

Well this turned out nice, sounds great, plays great but I’ll probably get a green arm at some point lol

And a bit more, tops glued on, edges filed and sanded over and my tele neck pickup ring finally arrived. Also copper on headstock and logo on trussrod cover. Drilled the temp screw holes I used to hold it together…   Read more»

Cut my first ever f hole today and glued the plate on the headstock
