I’m in a learning curve again…in properly sharpening chisels and Plane[s] blades…i used to work with them as a young man but sent the blades out for sharpening, because time was $$$ and i lacked the patience and was framing… Read more»

Sigh…not a major bummer…however, i routed the neck slot joint opening about 3mm too wide…the neck fits 1mm loose on one side and 2mm on the other when centered – i haven’t yet finished carving it [or the pickup route to full depth] out completely so I’m open to suggestion…I know the glue will create some swelling on the mahogany neck and the popla…[Read more]

At every interval…brosky…it’s like…ok, gopher it, or go home, this is what i signed up for; when I
placed my $40 mahogany neck and $35 Indian Rosewood fretboard into the caul and clamp with a router bit …yikes!
