@poco7 dude my wife would shoot me if I took any guitar building stuff in the house, especially the kitchen. 😂 Even to build my very first kit I had to, “take it outside.” 😁

After a few days of looking at this I decided to cut a 1/2” off the width. May cut 3/4” off though. The picture above the width is 13”. Cutting 3/4”’off gets it a bit less than the average rectangular… Read more»

Yeah after thinking about it I did realize the centerline in the carve would spread apart. Not really what I was wanting. I then thought perhaps make the centerline out of abalone but that wouldn’t look right in the end… Read more»

Most are 1 5/8” thick. Not quite thick enough but definite candidates for a carved cap or drop top I’m thinking. Hoping I should say. 😂 As you can see the width and length varies. I’m thinking the longer ones… Read more»
