@boo Halfords do a car body filler called chemical metal which is good for template repairs. It’s harder than the basic stuff and stands up to repeated use with a bearing cutter. Very hard to rub down so only use… Read more»

During the summer Mark was shielding control cavities and asked if there is an alternative to the Stew Mac paint from America. Discussed this with my chemist friend yesterday and he suggested using graphite powder in acrylic paint or lacquer…. Read more»

Mackintosh is a particular style of 19th Century Scottish art and architecture, difficult to put into a guitar style. It’s character is straight lines and right angles -
