Any advice on the volute?

As @TV101 says, watch how Mark does it, pay attention to where he carves the facets and where the bump should be relative to the nut, copy that and the volute just appears.

Would carving the centre block make a lot (any discernible) difference to the sound?  It will help take some weight out, but other than that … Who knows @TV101 once you crank it up through an amp and everyone’s pissed…   Read more»
