I'm looking forward to the finishing course (that guitar was as good as anything I've seen and better than most final reveals in "how to finish your guitar" videos on youtube).
Reviews of finishing products that are available and practical for people with limited resources would be good too. In a perfect world we would all have a garage/shed with power and a spray booth and pro spray equipment and UV curing system, and be making so many guitars we can buy large quantities of finish trade. But the reality is that a lot of us need something we can order from a fairly local supplier (if we're in the UK that means not something that is only available in the US, and possibly the EU will become an issue when the transition period is over), apply without expensive equipment, and that won't stink the house out with fumes. (Or some combination thereof).
