I've been a bit smug reading these injury posts and congratulating myself for being a careful worker. I really should've known better, thankfully the chisel was a wee bit dull and its just a scratch.

My hand was behind the chisel's edge and I'm not entirely sure what slipped. I hadn't even realised that the chisel had caught my hand until the red stuff started seeping out. I think the corner of the cutting edge must have scraped backwards over my hand, otherwise it would've been worse.
Tut tut sharp blades are much better. The cuts are cleaner and heal up faster.
I'll consider myself reprimanded and get all my blades sharpened. I had a good tidy up yesterday and made a rack for my chisels, so I haven't even got the excuse of working amongst the clutter. It really is just a scratch, so no drama.
