It’s kinda quaint making an album these days, but I’ve got a bunch of tunes now that I wrote and (hastily) arranged and performed over the past year for Acoustic Bliss and I’d love to do a full scale Todd Rundgren on them. Somehow, dribbling out streamed singles just isn’t the same as an immersive album for old folks like me.

I’ve got two new songs to finish writing, nine songs with guide tracks erm…. tracked and currently deep in the full production of the first one.

Currently wrestling with buymeacoffee.com to see if there isn’t a way of making a sh*tload of money out of this fearsome talent!

Oh, and I’ve finally made the headstock template for my Bisset laminated semi-hollow body!

Those of a sensitive disposition look away now.

That is a Vox Tornado which I bought in Harare for £40 in 1984. Then I did terrible things to it.

But my projected laminated semi-hollowbody will be partly modelled on it.

I've just been mad busy with work.  My attempts at retiring keep getting defeated.  🙁

Hence also the lack of any new Blissy recordings.  

I am thinking perhaps I'll try a build of some sort before Christmas though - I've got plenty of timber, parts and ideas ...
