There was too much dust in the dingy corner of the house where my guitars live. So I moved them out so I could muck out their hutch.
As I stacked them up on the settee and saw them all together it dawned on me that my two GMUK home builds look quite at home among their stable mates 😜
I've shown you mine........ 😉
Cheers @peebee
That was my second Bailey BYOG build. The top is Amazique - which is ridiculously hard, and heavy! But I saw it in the wood store and just was totally seduced by the looks! As I recall, Mark's sander/compressor overheated a few times during the carve/sand process ...

I don't have all my builds in one place as some of them were made for other people, but here's a few pics.
Sneaked in a few non guitars things as well hoping I don't get booted out.
Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.

@rocknroller912 It’s fine, it’s all stringed instruments. Nice work. 👍

I used a set of plans from Stew Mac in 1985 I think for the arch top, and wood from a local wood yard. It's got quite a treble sound and not much bass. I probably need to take it apart and adjust the tone bars as they are too stiff, but I didn't know anything about tone adjustment in those days.

@rocknroller912 maybe Mr B could knock up a BYO archtop course before the new year 🤣
Anyone build a Bandsman Bass before?
@clinton That is really cool. I’ve never built a bass guitar, never mind a Bandsman bass. What a great idea. This forum is really good, it’s full of people with ideas and inspiration for others.
