I got the Boss Waza Air!

https://www.boss.info/global/products/waza-air/

These are really awesome and pretty much exactly what I wanted which was a totally wireless practice setup. So far there isn’t a looper and slower downer but I have a hack for that. Maybe a future update will provide those...

I haven’t had much of a chance to really try them throughly yet and I don’t even really care about some of the sound features, I just really wanted to be able to play with headphones completely wirelessly, which is exactly what I got. Iβ€˜m stoked!

These came out roughly a year ago and were supposed to be my birthday present back in March but they were always out of stock. Not anymore!

🤘🎧🤘

Classic gift! Those are pretty sweet though, my socks are completely boring so I’d love some like those 👌

Nothing beats a nice meal, especially when it includes the blessing to go on a guitar building course 😆👌

Don't get me wrong Matt, I do like my socks. But a Boss Waza Air would've been nice though.

I'd like to build an acoustic too, and like you Tony, I think the best option would be to build it in the Bailey workshop.Β

Haven’t got my big present yet, it’s coming new year. 😁

But what I have got is enough shortbread, beer and whisky to sink a ship, so that will keep me busy until then. I don’t know what this Spanish liqueur is but it’s pretty powerful and very flavoursome.Β

Guess what I’ll do with the empty shortbread tins. 😁

I got the Boss Waza Air!

@mattbeels Cool as hell man! I’ve watched so many videos of this product and have wondered whether it’s just a gimmick but more and more reviews from top players have changed my mind. I watched Steve Vai’s reaction to them and if it impresses him then I’m sold.Β

The only thing I've received this Christmas was a card.. from a dog.. that I've never even met! (I sponsor him at the Dogs Trust).
I know my brother got me something, but the only clue he's given me so far is letting me see the box... it says "Amazon"
I think I'll be treating myself to a bagpress fret jig and some other goodies from the shop.

Hi Jonathan,

Everybody got a box with Amazon on it! Sod the lab in China, I think the WHO should have a scout around Jeff’s garage for the origins of C19!

My wife keeps β€˜buying’ guide dogs! I don’t know what they feed them but, looking at the post cards they send her every month or so, they stay as really cute little fluffy puppies until they are about 4 years old! And then she buys some more!!

Did anybody watch Iris and Kate tonight in β€˜The mountain between us’? This is now one of my all time favourite crap movies! The best bit was he said he was going to climb a further 2000ft of near vertical snow covered cliff faces so that, when he got to the top, he could look around to check to see if he could see a road! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣Β

The odd thing was, when I was pointing out these failings of the film to my wife, she just told me to shut up and said that she was only watching it for the views and the scenery. I just never realised before that she was so into mountains and snow!

I got a replica England rugby shirt in red so that I can wear it to the pub when England beat Scotland in the 6 Nations 2021 (if the nippie sweetie ever allows pubs to open again).

Also treated myself to a nice flame maple wedge top to build a Les Paul style to go with the pick ups I found in the Gibson factory shop in Memphis 2018, $50 each not a bad bargain. The top was pre loved and already joined having been returned to David Dyke Luthier Supplies due to the original purchaser passing away.

Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.

My wife was very generous to my new hobby, got a lift for my router table, a plunge base for my compact router, and a new paint stick as I like to call it, and several other bits and bobs I wanted but really didn't need to build guitars!Β

@rocknroller912 I’ll be buying a Scotland shirt when I move there, it’s such a great country. Scotland will win at some point, maybe not in 2021 but never say never 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I’ll be cheering Scotland on from my sofa or in a Scottish pub somewhere, whenever the threat of covid is gone (safety first, normal life second). This will be my last Christmas in England, it’s been fun but it’s time to move on. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sounds like you’ve got some good stuff there for a cool guitar project, the top especially. I can’t wait to see the flame in that Maple. Have you a colour in mind yet?Β
