Being a bass player I've made several basses at home.
This one is one with a swamp ash body, redwood top, maple neck and a rosewood fretboard.
It has Seymour Duncan STKJ2 en SPB3 pick-ups, Gotoh brug and tuners.
It started with a full scale drawing.
And after some sawing, routing, gluing, sanding and drilling and a couple of happy accidents which I managed to solve the result is ok.

@marcel I think you are the best bass guitar maker here amongst us and this build just proves it. This week you have inspired me to plan a few more builds that I may not have thought of. I now really want to build a bass but I’ve got a lot of catching up to do if I want to be as good as you. Again, very nice work!
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
That's OK - you're among friends here, you can admit things like that
It's the story of my life. The boy who is the least talented in the football team is made the goalkeeper.
That was me.
The one who is not a very good guitar player is given a bass.
That was me.

@johnnierox-boo I don't know if I'm the best bass maker here, I just try to do my best and I enjoy it. And I'm very happy to have inspired you in your guitar making. I'll post a few more of my bass builds soon.
