Finishing advice accepted  – 
 
What oil do you think would work best on this Driftwood guitar top?
Left as rough-sawn due to Sun & Salt water patina. 
 

Need this finishing course, as my errors on a couple of bodies is creating a backlog!

Good session. Never tought to have Neck pocket guide that reached bridge position.
Also thickness of the guide does away with need to pre-drill – saving shed loads of time!!!

Am i right in thinking that the slotting guide that has the fretboard taped to it, can be used inverted if some wear develops over time causing chatter/movement as pin locates?

Superb!

@e-den-hertog Used Sycamore (Soft Maple) for years to great effect. Cheaper than Maple, slightly softer giving a slightly warmer tones. You could put a top on it?!? Once dried, Sycamore is a very stable wood and a delight when working…   Read more»
