@darrenkingTwo reasons1) My goto guitar is always going to be the one with the cutaway, that’s just the way I am. I’m a 24 frets on an electric type person (22 is forgivable if you want the tone of the… Read more»

I’m looking forward to the finishing course (that guitar was as good as anything I’ve seen and better than most final reveals in “how to finish your guitar” videos on youtube).Reviews of finishing products that are available and practical for… Read more»

From the fact that you wrote “low odour” I’m guessing that this is Solarez’s “I can’t believe it’s not lacquer”?That’s very hard to get outside the US because the the international distributors seem to all be surf shops, who don’t… Read more»

I think I’ll be taking your advice and buying one.But after your bit about the masking tape for the centre line, my first thought was “why don’t they laser a centre line on to the template?”The text I assume is… Read more»

@darrenkingYour CNC may let you specify hole positions to the micron, but I’m pretty sure it’s not placing them that accurately. Not even a Kern Milling Machine promises that (and it would be pointless with wood anyway). But for this task,… Read more»
