Hi Blake – Yes and yes 🤠 The truss rod has been discontinued by Gotoh (insert swear word)…The new one fits into a 6mm or 1/4″ slot You can use any size to thickness headstock – but bigger is quicker…. Read more»

Thats exactly the way I did it. I packed up the tunomatic with washers to allow for the height of the posts. That allowed me to mark the centres down through the bridge holes. Having done that, it land within… Read more»

I’d go for a 1/4″ rather than 1/2″ – get the best one you can afford (or two!)
