RE: Building a guitar for my thesis for school.

@louis-kerckhove Excellent work! Your neck carve looks great, which tools did you use? I wonder if a Shinto Rasp would be good for wenge 🤔 You may want to consider reshaping the bottom horn fo...

RE: Your first rockconcert?

You can’t beat a good ballad Matt @boo I like ballads too but it’s just a matter of taste... Still Loving You is a ballad and imo, that song slays WOC, it is what it is.

RE: Your first rockconcert?

I’ve always been into Scorpions. Rudy Schenker is a great rhythm player and always wrote cool sounding, melodic riffs. Matthias Jabs is a great, underrated lead player. Hard to stand out after followi...

@rocknroller912 I had a look and it’s not out yet but you can register on his website to be notified when it’s ready, which I did. I have the first two editions and they’re great, obviously.

So it’s now over engineered but that’s the way I roll anyway. @boo Your name could be Overbuilt Guitars 😄

@louis-kerckhove Good job on the body design, it’s always nice to see an different/oddball shape! Have you carved the neck yet? If so, was it difficult to do? I’ve heard it can be rather splintery. W...

RE: Starting the process, guitar number 1

@peebee The practicecaster looks really good. I like how you took the belly carve into the top bout. Any more progress? What kind of bandsaw do you have?

@blake Looks like you’ve made a great choice! Those Carbatec tools look pretty sweet. I first saw them on the Temple Guitars YouTube channel. Have fun (lucky dog!)

RE: What would you like to see next?

@boo That looks pretty sweet! Great job on the neck heel and using a tone block. Did you get it from Grainger Guitars? How do you like the Babicz bridge? How well do the strings stay in the nut? I don...

@jamesbisset I think both versions of the logo look great! Almost hard to choose... I like what you did to the LP headstock, that little hole makes a big difference.

RE: Your first rockconcert?

As far as I can remember I was probably around 10 and my Dad took us to see his favorite band Chicago at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Mi. I guess they could be considered rock back then but it was defi...

RE: What would you like to see next?

@eddie6string I would say B Because I love reversed headstocks and since the body is dark I think a maple FB would balance it out. Second choice is A Because I love reversed headstocks
