I read on another forum that evo gold supply problems are due to the foundry which makes the metal not being able to source raw materials

@nsj Yeah, lovely. Last time I did an ebony fretboard, I used gold Evo fret wire, it looked amazing. There is something about the dark ebony and shiny gold frets that is just wonderful.
