@boo Cutting a recess in the plate was pretty much the first thing I thought. Although, I want to keep the size of it in case I need to use it for a bigger project. @robin Somehow that never occurred… Read more»

Does anyone know what this gouge with the strange handle would have been used for. @robin I can’t help you with that one Robin. It’s concaved so some kind of gouge or something. It’s not for chipping at horses hooves… Read more»

I’ve been following your advice, wet sanding up through the grits, all it takes is time and patience. @robin Whatever you are painting, a guitar, a car, a bike, a garage door, etc….. the top coat is the finishing coat,… Read more»

Just one more question, what do you clean the G3 off with? @robin It’s water based so I just use a damp (not wet) rag, make sure the rag is soft and you have rung it out properly. Follow up… Read more»

@robin You don’t have to use these exact ones, other brands are available. They do all work well together though, that’s what they were designed to do. 👍 Like with anything, whether it’s paint systems, sanding systems, polis…[Read more]

Welcome @jamesonguitar. Cool video. I agree with @robin. You have a lot more patience than I do. I would not have made it through that much sanding. :). Great perseverance. I was watching and think…. even a small hand plane… Read more»

Already thought of the dust extraction @robin. If I hadn’t broken my hole saw I would have done it. It will have one but for now I just could wait to try it out. 🙂
