@peter-c-f I've got the last transverse brace glued across the break now and its looking okay. I'll get the X braces on tomorrow, that'll put some strength into it and I'll can breath again.

Aah, so THAT was that odd noice this morn' (thought it was a helicopter flying over). Hide glue should help give a strong bond and still have some flexibility for the vibrations of the board to work...

@swepri An interesting build, it must be great to have the right tool for absolutely everything. I liked his simple jig for making the kerf lining, I'll be copying that for my acoustic build.

@brie Thanks for that, I'll look into it. When I use my Windows laptop, it automatically shuts all tabs when I shut the machine down so I doubt it will be that. I do have a tab open on my phone always...

@brie Ive found it cleans easily with thinners but if the wood is not sealed it will get into the grain

@rathius It’s got loads of graphite in it, very thick stuff and messy to work with. Make sure the body around the cavity you’re painting is well masked, it’s a real pain to clean any splashes or erran...
