I've been having trouble signing in. For some reason the system kicked me out yesterday and I couldn't get back in due to a Google reCAPTCHA that isn't even there. Very strange. Anyway, I've managed to sign in on my phone, which isn't ideal but I've raised the problem with Carol.

Back to my bench for now.

@boo I had a similar problem a while ago and couldn’t get signed in at all, Carol spoke to their IT person but no firm conclusion was found. Since then I have on occasion had a problem but have found that I had another version of the web page open at the same time on my iPad. So it’s worth checking that you’ve signed out and closed any session you had open on the platform you’re using or on any other platform e.g. phone, tablet, PC or laptop. For me the situation usually arises when I have a session open, go away to do something else and forget to log out - auld age disnae come itself!!👍😃🎸

@brie Thanks for that, I'll look into it. When I use my Windows laptop, it automatically shuts all tabs when I shut the machine down so I doubt it will be that. I do have a tab open on my phone always but I usually have to sign in every time.

I'll have a look at that though, thanks again. 👍

@nsj Yes indeedy. I just fancied doing a natural wood guitar with a lovely grain, instead of painting. I may finish it with clear coat though for maximum pop. I liked the look of this black limba, ordered it a while back, it’s lovely. 

Not starting it yet though, I’ve got too much other stuff to do.

My vice turned up today, it's quite big. 😂

It fits in place perfectly but it will be a bit of a challenge to install it. I'll probably have to drill some holes through the worktop for some big bolts to hold the vice to the bench. 

It's fine, I'm not bothered at all, I don't mind, doesn't bother me in the slightest. 😳

@boo I'll pm you pics of mine in IG, I like using regular 1k matt spray, car stuff.

Pics are in here too somewhere but not sure where lol

@boo Use a forstner bit to bury the heads in the bench. But yeh, that things a bit of a beast lol

I managed to get my bench vice installed at the weekend. This thing is heavy, I'm so glad I build my bench well. 

I just need to make some big wooden jaws for it now.
