Hey! Hey! @tv101. Nice job. Thanks for the link too. ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐
.....turns out that there's loads out there @tv101..... here's a good one....
There have been some really great Quay Sessions @tv101. Hopefully they can still be found somewhere. ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐
@dhawkes1gmail-com Hi Dan, it all depends on how thick you put it on. By the time you've reached your 6th coat it should be a very thin coat so 24hr...
Once the sides and blocks were glued together I radiused the edges of the sides on the radius dishes. 28' for the edge to be glued to the soundboard.....
Then I glued them in place inside the mould ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐
Then I cut the end block and the heel block to size and squared them up. ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐
Excellent @clinton. You could take all those hours of jammin' and produce it into an album. ๐ Hope you are safe and well over there. ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐
Nice work @clinton. What's the music playing on this video? ๐๐ถ๐๐ธ
Coming along nicely there @marcel ๐ธ๐๐ถ๐
Great start @tyreman. Keep those pictures coming. ๐ถ๐๐ธ๐
Then I bent the sides into shape using the pipe bender. I then held them in place in the guitar mould. ๐๐ถ๐๐ธ
Then plane the edges flat on the shooting board. ๐ธ๐๐ถ๐
Then cut into shape on the bandsaw. ๐๐ถ๐๐ธ
Onto the sides now. I used cherry for the sides on this one. Planed and scraped down to 2.0 - 2.1mm thick. ๐ธ๐๐ถ๐
Excellent repair job @koendb. Toolbox? ๐ค.... there's an idea. ๐๐ถ๐๐ธ
I do like that fretboard @nsj. ๐ค ๐ธ๐๐ถ๐
Cheers @koendb. How's your build coming on? ๐๐ถ๐๐ธ
@rey_rchotmail-com Welcome Rey. Enjoy the ride. Hope you don't get too much sawdust in your dinner. ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐
Then I carved out each end of the centre strip to accommodate the heel block and end block. ๐๐ธ๐๐ถ
