Hi all

I have been absent from Guitar Making for a while and haven’t done any building for a while….

I completely retired in August.   I spent some time sorting stuff - the garage where my workshop is was full of junk that has been there for a very long while - I had some space but my sander, planer and bandsaw were difficult to get to.   Also I needed to sort out doors and windows in the garage as they hadn’t been maintained for many years.

All of this has now been done but at present I am playing with some other stuff so probably won’t be building any guitars just yet.

I do want to build an amp - Uncle Doug on YouTube has a series of videos covering building a single ended 5 Watt combo with reverb and tremolo based on a Supro - I have got a shopping list of parts but will build the chassis and cabinet first.

Hope to catch up with everyone’s magic over the next little while……

It’s good to be back!

@frocesterbill

Welcome to retirement, you'll find that there still isn't enough time to do everything you want.
