@cazdaz For anyone that was on bliss last thursday they may have heard myself and mrs power were bracing for a hurricane to hit the eastern part of canada. Just wanted to update ya's that we made it through with minimal damage to our house and property. We just got our power back on so we were only down for about 24 hours so not too bad. Around 80% of nova scotia lost power last night. We had a drive around our town today and there is extensive damage. Every road we went down had trees down and lots of damaged cars and houses. Some places are saying power won't be restored until thursday at the earliest. Nova scotia deployed the military to help with cleanup. Luckily the path of the hurricane turned and went south of us and made landfall about 300km away but we still had some crazy wind and rain. This was reported to be the hardest hurricane recorded to hit us. The lowest pressure in the eye. Over all, we were very lucky and all is well.
I just took some time to read back through this thread.
I’d missed all the updates since early in the year (I wasn’t on here for a few months), so I just read about 9mths progress in maybe 20mins.
What an excellent result. I’m envious of anyone with the skills to make an acoustic anyway, but to be able to overcome all of those little challenges too - very impressed.
The veneer on the arm bevel is a proper quality touch too.
Very nice work BJP.
