Ok enough crazy vids. Here are some pics. 3 day speed build. Hybrid guitar. Maple neck and fretboard, Basswood Body, Alder Top.
@clinton that is an amazing guitar, I wouldn’t expect anything less from you. I love the shape, pickup configuration, binding, the finish, the colour, all of it. To build something like that in 3 days is remarkable, I must try and speed up my production. I know it’s in me to speed up, I’m nearly ready for a speed build but I must be safety conscious.
Yeo I have thought of doing some nails in Barncasters, I will do soon at some point when I build others. 👍
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
@Boo @Koendb. Ok yes it took 3 days. Kinda cheated. Already had a preradiused fretboard and rough cut on the neck made prior and my friend sent me full set templates for easy routing. Just flowed along nicely and before you know it, I was dyeing and finishing. Turn out quite nice. Feels really comfortable.
Hi all,
We look after the website for Mark and Carol. This is a really difficult thing to pinpoint. It could be browser settings, maybe even your security settings. The embed code seems fine although I did note that it is a .mov file type, be interesting to try a different video file type and see if the same happens.
The fact that it works for some and not for others using the same browser seems like it is much more of a personal settings thing rather than a website issue. The video does not show for me either and I tested 4 different browsers. I also played with my chrome settings and cleared cookies and cache etc but to no avail.
In general I would always advise not to upload video directly to the site, much better for this forums health (speed, space etc). Much better to upload to your YouTube account and then embed that video.
I'll dig out a little .mp4 video and post it here and test the different file types.
Hmmm double checked and problem video has lowercase .mov also...OK I think this might be video specific. When I download it there is no preview, it does play but I wonder if there is some data missing and its slightly corrupted?
Either way we can definitely see that the embed works with mp4 and mov files
