RE: Essential Tools and Precision Tools. @russ I’ve used tools from a variety of companies, ones I’ve had from Crimson Guitars are my favorite. They’re expensive but a delight to use and so far have been totally happy with them! |

RE: 12 String acoustic bridge repair @robin If it’s a Neapolitan bowl back type mandolin it probably is beyond repair. They are a nightmare and hardly ever play in tune. Good decorative pieces but that’s about it. |

RE: Truss rod location I was able to knock it back before I leveled the frets. It will still be sticking out a bit but a millimeter or two is better than a half-inch. |
