@rocknroller912 I’ll give that a go and see how I get on. I’ll likely need a cabinet scraper to finish it as I don’t have anything to do that with and my plane is only about 40mm wide.

@rocknroller912 lots to think about there, it’s just the angle that needs raising so adding depth to the front edge of the heel. (Or arguably reducing the back) There’s no issue with a gap the fret board overhangs the neck… Read more»

The part most likely to rust is the Chuck, so you can rub some candle wax on the outside and into any screw heads.Thanks again @rocknroller912. Another great tip.

There is an easy way to get broken screws out @rocknroller912 Worked a treat, Mark suggested the same. If you overlook where the finish is a bit destroyed where I had to twist the pickup mount off it’ll be hidden… Read more»
