@darrenking Do you hold your neck in the desired location (with clamp or masking tape & super glue), attach your template gizmo to the body flush to the neck, then remove the neck leaving template exactly where you want it?

Never seen a truss rod yet that wasn’t a bit thicker at the headstock end – by the time you’ve ‘nibbled out’ for that your ‘learning opportunity’ will be even less noticable. 🙂 I tried dust extraction on first truss… Read more»
