Now I need to figure out how to get the blobs of superglue off the fretboard. Why is it every time Mark says 'it's important you don't x,y,z' do I always manage to do exactly that 🤣

Anyways, it feels like this is coming together now so onto the body.

Great job @cheesewhisk! You can use a razor blade or small (sharp!) chisel to remove the dried glue, easy but a bit annoying. Just take it slow and don’t dig in.

Practice on scrap...

@cheeswhick

There is a solvent for superglue, I think Wickes have it

Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.

I'd probably try the @mattbeels approach.  Should be cleaner than dissolving it and risking it spreading out over a wider area.

Congrats @cheesewhisk, that looks like a nice neat build.

👍

It's the same principle as someone saying "you don't want to eat X or drink Y", and then of course you want to do exactly that!

@cheesewhisk cracking job, let me know how you get on with the rogue superglue. That’s the exact reason I was querying the use of superglue for frets in the first place so very interested you know how removing it goes.
