@Tej I use thin superglue and only add small drops – the drops vanish down the slot, usually by the time you get to the end of the fretboard you can go back to the start…..

Your carving is looking good. As for removing fingers, I’ve tried it and wouldn’t recommend it.

That sounds like a plan @tej , carve off a bit at a time until it looks and feels right. The real skill is to stop before you take too much, because you can’t put it back on so easily.
