I don't think a router is the best way to shape a neck. It is not a uniform shape. I would use a rasp and/or spokeshave.

I am by far my favourite guitar player. If only I was as good as Jimi or Eddy 🙂

TIP: If you want Stewmac products without the import BS here in Europe, You can also buy from Madinter in Spain, they do carry most of Stewmac product...

That sounds about right. For my 16" I ended up with G .020 (now wound, but will try plain next string up) C .017 E .011 A .009

Alright! I used a 16" on mine 🙂 It took me a bit of experimenting to find a good combination of string gauges.
