I’ll have to watch this from the start as I was very late to the live session, sorry. I did hear someone mention something about building a small guitar for, well, someone small. I have a small scale length guitar that would probably be the size you are looking for. I think it might have been @eddie6string that asked the question about truss rods for such an instrument. I too would be interested in purchasing a small truss rod so I can build one to. The one I have is an Ibanez PGM MiKro and it’s 22.2” scale length. If anyone wants any measurements, let me know.

I think that Mark has a video on making truss rods, so I guess you could make any length that you want.
@robin Yeah, I think that was for a curved one though and for single action. I’m not sure so I’ll go and check. It would be a lot easier if we could just buy them though. Thanks for your comment and I hope your build is going well.

You're right, it was single action. My build is going well, iv'e started applying the Danish Oil now and its looking good. Still a bit of work ti do on the fretboard, just waiting for a crowning file to arrive. I'm having surgery on my stomach tomorrow, I'd hoped to have had the guitar finished by today, but its going to have wait a few weeks now while I recover. I can spend my time finishing the design of my next one though.
There was a discussion this afternoon about bandsaws and the pitfalls of using a jigsaw, so I though I would share the method that I worked out over 20 years ago not having a bandsaw and wanting to make Stratocaster style bodies.
I drilled holes around the outline with a bench drill very close together then it was not too hard to join up the holes. Not a great method but if you haven't got room for machines then it does work. A hand held power drill would probably also work.
Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.
I too hope surgery goes well!
I received two rolls of NEC tape this morning.
Needless to say that the neighbours are indeed a lot quieter and I plan to untie them at the weekend. Hopefully the tape doesn't leave a telling mark.
Warmness
Erm...... It is lovely that we are a caring community here and I’m pleased messages of well-being are being directed at people when we have a man (or woman) down. If one bleeds, we all bleed. (Perhaps not the best term to use I know)
A couple of people have directed their messages at me, which is nice, but it’s not me having the op, it’s @robin. Thanks for your concern though.
I hope all goes well for you Robin and speedy recovery. We are all here when you want to talk and here when you can resume work on your build. Take it easy for a bit. 👍

Thanks for putting them right Boo, they need to pay more attention at tbe back of the class.
Surgery went well yesterday, all went to plan. I'm sitting in the hospital now waiting to go home. I'm on a liquid only diet now for the next two weeks, but no alcohol, how's that going work.
Thanks again for all your good wishes
Robin.
