Fisheye can be caused by contamination on the surface ( a bit of grease, silicon, or something). One of the ways of dealing with it is just to 'flood'...

I've never used Liberon Sanding Sealer - I suggest you do a test before risking the guitar - It will probably be OK as long as it is well dry.

Well maybe it might help a little but don't forget Nitro will also darken (yellow) with age - the more UV or sunlight that hits it the darker it gets....
